Emalia and Christy Churchill: Prepping toes for surgery!!!!! |
We leave tomorrow morning for a full week of pre-op appointments and details before Emalia's surgery on Friday, October 18th, very early in the morning. I will keep you as informed as to how Emalia's surgery goes.
I will also let you know when we have found the ideal housing situation or how we are patching together some very generous offers we have received. Ideally, a 2 or 3-bdrm house would be available now through mid-December and be a gift or low cost. If a pool were on the property, it needs to be childproof.
California and Hawaii team members have been working overtime to help us and have done an incredibly amazing job. We thank those of you who have responded to our specific needs and those of you who are holding Emalia in your prayers, heart, and mind.
We would be most grateful if you would please hold the best for Emalia, her surgeons, and attending staff on Friday!
Em, you are in our hearts. Good luck on Friday. Aloha, Milly Boren

Hello all, I too will be sending huge rays of healing energy your way, especially during your surgery. I have been asking friends around the stanford area for housing availability and haven't found anything yet. Let me know when you can have visitors and I'll come down to see you all!

Aloha Emalia, my name is Mike Thomas and I had the fortune to be the care taker of Keawaiki in 1980. I remember you very well as a child when you would come up to Hawai'i from Maui to spend time at your family place there. I can still see you and all the kids having much fun there on the beach and splashing in the " clear pool" etc. My connection to Keawaiki will always remain strong in my heart and want you to know my Aloha always for the Brown 'ohana as well. Please know that you and your 'ohana are deep in my thoughts and prayers. We wish you much peace and all the blessings if God. Me Ke Aloha Pumehana, Mike Thomas.
